"We were staying at a nearby hotel and wanted an alternative to hotel dining or something in the city. We found this place on TripAdvisor and asked our hotel about it. They recommended it to us for the pizza, so we decided to give it a shot. It was a Sunday evening in September. When we drove up to the place, it didn't even look open. It was 19.00. We parked in the lot and noticed some activity in the kitchen, so I asked a cook who walking from his car if they were open, and he said they were about to open the doors. Shortly thereafter, the doors opened and they called us in from the parking lot. We selected a table in the courtyard and our waiter arrived quickly. He spoke English and had a great attitude. We had antipasti (gamberi e salsa rossa, bruschetta, caprese) and pizza (the ham and cheese, and the ham and cheese and sausage), as well as the risotto with speck and rocket, and the penne with white sauce. For dessert we had the tiramisu ice cream and the almond ice cream with chocolate sauce. The food was exactly what we needed, and the atmosphere was so perfectly Sicilian, it doesn't get any better. Highly recommended for family or couples, really anyone who wants to have a great meal in an excellent atmosphere."

"My husband chose this location for lunch as the promise of good pizza was across the tripadvisor pages. Alas Pizza is only served in the evening. We went upstairs and were the only people there this blustery November day. I ordered the tourist menu for Euro12 and he ordered al a carte. They have english menus. Both primis we were tasty but too much. The secondi's were average, nothing special, tasty, but certainly not 5 star. We left full. We also noticed everyone, locals it seemed, downstairs all eating paninis. They seemed happy enough, maybe for lunch a panini would have been a better option. Maybe the pizzas are great, we will never know."
