"Wow! After a steep climb in surprisiny, autumn weather hit, and with thought of a cold drink the only thing that helps us to pull, we almost cried to find the only restaurant closed in mid-week. Unfortunately, these people are saints, angels, superstars! A cooler box with cold beer, soft beer, water and fizzy pop! And a honesty box that we happily filled so much for shady charm from the heat as the beer. What a wonderful thing! Nice place, can not say much about food, but service is very thoughtful!!!! Thank you."

"Siamo saliti da Verdasio ai Monti di Comino in 7 minuti con una magnifica cabinovia di 4 posti. Da lì a ca. 100 metri si trova questa magnifica capanna, tavoli di granito su una terrazza accogliente e piacevole. Prati e boschi circostanti sono un contorno naturale indescrivibile. Servizio cordiale e accogliente. Abbiamo mangiato dapprima un'insalatina freschissima e molto ben condita, poi lo spezzatino di cervo con risotto ai funghi! una vera delizia e abbiamo fatto un grande complimento al cuoco!! Porzione abbondante servita bene dove ognuno poteva servirsi dato che la portata è per 4 persone. Poi la magnifica torta di cioccolato fatta in casa! Sicuramente ci ritorneremo perché questo posto merita davvero ed è ideale per ricaricare le batterie, con la possibilità di effettuare delle bellissime passeggiate nella zona i cuî percorsî sono definiti cosiccome la durata. Ci siamo veramente divertiti!"

"After waiting 45 minutes we were told grumpily that it was at least another hour without a greeting. He probably said until he had time to take our order. How long should I wait for food after ordering? It wasn't very busy (about 5 tables of 2-4 people). The host seems to do everything himself. Serve, cook, collect... And that 7 days a week from March to October? No wonder his frustration spills over onto the guests, both us and the others. It's a shame, the place would be really great, it just seems like the right organization is missing."

Si vous choisissez le Tessin authentique n'hésitez pas à rester quelques jours à l'osteria Borgei. Très bon accueil, excellente cuisine locale, intérieur décoré avec beaucoup de goût et la terrasse est tellement ... Tessinoise !"

"Einige Kilometer nach Intragna auf der linken Seite im Centovalli ist die Osteria Salmina. Parkplätze wenige Meter nach der Osteria links. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste auf der Terrasse. Auf der Karte fanden wir Lasagne, Gnocchi della nonna, stracotto di asino (Esel),Saltinbocca con Risotto, Maxi costata und zu unserer Überraschung Ravioli al Zincarlin (ein aus Sauerteig bestehender Tessiner Frischkäse aus Valle di Muggio / Presidio von Slow Food). Als Slow Fooder bestellten wir die Ravioli al Zincarlin für Fr. 19.-- und waren begeistert. Schade ist nur, dass die Terrasse einen sehr schmudeligen Eindruck hinterlässt. Die Kissen auf den Bänken sind total abgenutzt und sollten unbedingt ersetzt werden. Auch weniger Plastik wäre schön. Augen zu und durch! Geniessen Sie einfach diese Ravioli und dann nichts wie weiter!"
