"Best tamales I've ever had. Bought some to share with my friends back home and we all said the same thing. Best. Tamale. Ever. These things are huge. And worth every penny. You can stop in and pick up a variety of salsas and chips. They also sell ready to go masa so you can make your own tamales. This little hidden gem is a must stop for anyone looking for some great homemade food. And the prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly!"

"Alamo Cafe 281 location . Service was horrible took 30 minutes to get our drinks. We were seated almost 2 hours and had only gotten chips salsa and tortillas. 2 tables across from us got their food quick and they were seated 30-40 mins after we were. Server had a horrible attitude though we were super nice and understanding despite the terrible service. Felt more like a racial discrimination issue since we were the only visible Latino family in the establishment."

"Lovely staff seems to be a family run operation love that! I stopped in for a quick breakfast burrito to go. Although it was a hefty and saucy burrito, it was extremely bland. A gentleman sitting nearby was digging into the menudo which looked delicious though! 4 stars for the friendly service and clean atmosphere, but food wasn't my favorite."
