"My extended weekend at Lake Constance in Konstanz, I had a meal before the trip home. Since at this time most restaurants do not offer a warm meal, I decided to stay in the area of the beach bath. The next snack only breeds unhealthy like Pommes, Currywurst Co. and so I ended up in the Hörnle . This restaurant is open only in the bathing season until September and from the Terasse where I took place, I had a fantastic view of the lake. The young girls are friendly and do their job no longer and no less. It looks like seasonal workers and in no case after learned forces. The menu is folded on the tables. I saw that the dumplings were cooked some time ago on the dried shell, which was already a little darker than the inner life. The forest mushroom ragout consisted mainly of champignons that only had to sprinkle from the glass and the few pifferlings as well. The finished sauce, which already contained a lot of flavor enhancers and was too salty and spicy. It wasn't a pleasure, and I didn't eat as healthy as I thought. There will be no repetition. And not when I'm in the beach bath."

"With the menu. We just spent a week in Konstanz, helping family move here and as the Seelig restaurant was conveniently close and easily accessible with the car it sort of became our daily diner. I can't fault the place at all. Staff was friendly...all the time, we ate something different every day all dishes were fresh and pleasant (from a thai curry to a steak with red onion sauce and famous fish dishes of the Bodensee). A nice choice of local wines complete the menu. The price seemed very correct : we usually just had one main course, glass or two of wine and a coffee for around 20 Euros p/p. The bonus is the view of the lake and the atmospheric illuminations of the adjacent swimming pool after dark (the restaurant is part of a very modern spa complex)."
