"I have stopped here a couple of times recently and got a park right out the front. A short wait before getting my order in a nice waterfront vista. Squid rings, chips and crumbed blue grenadier was my last order, for the princely sum of $29! The fish was two smallish pieces rather than one large piece, for $11 I think, and was nice and crunchy, cooked well and tasty, but still overpriced. The squid was great, chips were bland, but a good sized tub of tartare was welcome. Overall, reasonable/good food, but quite pricey."

"Flippers is a fish and chips floating barge, (and a hobart institution). it is the first of maybe five or six uferbarian along the frame dock. grill fish is gluten-free. the chips are gluten-free, except they are in boiled community oil. we enjoyed a grilled blue granadier and chips."

"Chose this shop at random whilst staying in Bellerive. So pleased we did. The food was absolutely fresh and delicious and as an extra bonus, very hot! We were staying two nights and as it had been so good we did the same on the second night! Equally as good! Very friendly staff!"

"The service was good it must be said, but we're not rushing back. The fish and chips was ok, but not great and this is Hobart, where really good fish and chips should be possible. But it was ok. My husband's scallop pie he reported was ok, but not in the same street as others he had tried. You can eat in, which we did, and it was clean and comfortable, and reasonably priced."
