"Had a good pizza here. Service was excellent, efficient and friendly. The restaurant is set back and unfortunately doesn't take advantage of the wonderful ocean views of the resort. They were setting up the band when we left and this would have been a nice touch in this small, intimate setting"

"Drove around western Cape Breton looking for a place to eat later in the day when many things were closed and came across the Village Grill in Inverness. The service was friendly and fast, our meals came quickly and there was quite a lot to choose from even for myself, a vegetarian. I had a vegetarian sandwich which was pretty good considering the venue didn't seem like the type of place that would usually have vegetarian options. There were lots of fresh veggies and sauce and cheese but not too much to drown out the good stuff!"

"We ordered bacon eggs hash browns with toast. It was on the table in front of us in the time it took to toast the bread. The eggs were cold the hash browns were cold as well as the bacon. It was served in a matter of minutes. I believe the eggs bacon hash browns were cooked before we ever arrived at the cafe. At $12.00 it was certainly a disgrace"

"Good place to hang outside after golf. We had breakfast here one morning and it was good. Fun spot to hang out and watch the golfers come in."
