"We were recieved with a big smile from the person greeting us outside the restaurant. John at the helm of the restaurant was a joy to chat with. Without a clue this restaurant serves Louisiana style comfort food. We had chicken pot pie with green beans, Mac and cheese, and a piece of corn bread. We must of stayed there well over two hours. Nice decode and very relaxed. We will certainly return."

"After years of avoiding LO, because of visit dissatisfaction repeated over several years, we were encouraged to “give them another try”. We did, and were pleasantly surprised and impressed with the professional service, AND very happy with our Filet M and Citrus Chicken dinners RIGHT UP UNTIL they started filling the surrounding tables with groups of middle aged and older men, most who were drunk and loud and foul mouthed. We were at a small table for two and could no longer carry on a normal conversation. The eating area has basically two sections, one by the bar and the other on the other side of the room. Management could easily sit most of them on the bar side, as most of the were focused on drinking anyway! It’s a shame, because it ruined a very special night for us, and from the looks whispers from the tables with ladies and/or families, we weren’t the only ones cutting the evening short! In the end, the hotel/restaurant may be upper-end aesthetically, but it still caters to same old group of “ugly Americans” we all wished didn’t exist! There’s many small family owned restaurants in Loreto where you can enjoy the quiet! We will be enjoying the food totally from there now! Food- 4, Service-4, Atmosphere-1 3, which is Average!"

"I used to love their empanadas. Now they are average. Pizza is good and so are the salads. Their price has increased by since years ago. Ordered the mango margarita, was not great. Their mineral limonada was great. They were short staffed so...service was slow. Had to remind them to charge us for the drinks which they forgot."
