"Went to Mary's as I'd heard it was great. My experience was below average, I had a battered sav and chips. Sav was soggy and tough batter, really chewy. Not nice at all. Chips were ok but no chicken salt when we'd asked for it.I'll be looking for another place to go."

"As a Victorian living in QLD I miss our state fish the Flake. On this area of the Northside its been a bit hard to find a good flake. I wont say this is great but I will say its ok. The chips used to...be much better witch chicken salt but not so great any more and the potato scollops dont have much potato in them so dont bother. You always finish the meal feeling dirty and you have done something wrong. (Sometimes thats the feeling you want but not most times)"

"This is the best fish and chip shop in the hills district, I have tried them all Prices are great Taste is fantastic we have not been disappointed with the seafood and burgers we have bought in the four purchases we have made so far. The burgers are bigger and cheaper than the burger franchises They are winners with my teenage sons One area for improvement is the size of chip serves as Linda Clay mentioned below. We have closer fish and chip shops, but these guys are worth the extra five minute drive"
