"Hotel with a great location and spectacular views. The whole complex is beautiful, but after our experience, poorly managed/operated. The girl at the reception was unprofessional, little sympathy and very dry. The room, called Eddie, was super small and dark, we felt like we were in a hole and to the surprise that when we opened the window we found a wall and an iron plate and at the level of the sole.... Disappointing! And to this we already add details, that a hotel that is offered with that level and prices should not be allowed. Among others, the TV did not work any channel, the shower only has a waterfall-like water flow from above, nothing more, the shower screen lacked 4 fingers to close and with the small shower, all the water comes out. The breakfast is very fair for said hotel, cakes all already made and little assortment of everything. We were very excited and we were disappointed after a while to arrive. Enjoy the pool because it's the only cool thing! "Walking up The Valley from Lamanère , through a wood abundant with mushrooms and wild flowers , we came across the Ermitage at the top of a track, meters off the GR The original building has been restored as a hostal with many...of the unique historic features maintained and access to the restored chapel, well worth a visit. The views across the mountains are breathtaking and there is a real sense of calm. The evening meal was superb and the hosts were very flexible to ensure that all dietary needs were catered for. the accommodation is very clean and comfortable with efficient hot water and access to drinks outside of meal times. It is perfect for large groups as well as single travellers. Isobel and Frank, who are warm and hospitable have set themselves a challenge, but this place has huge charm and is wonderful value for the treat that it is. The access track needs careful negotiation at points if you have a low suspension car, but it is worth the effort and no problem at all if you are walking, either up to the road or walking on towards the Coll d’Ares. We plan to return again and again"
