"Great place for homemade cakes. Large combinations and seasonal flavors only all the time. Basics apple cake is always available, but I would recommend getting seasonal flavors. A favorite is plums when available. Coffee is not worth it here, but nice to have a cup of coffee with cake when you sit down to enjoy it. It's not bad enough that I knock a star, but you don't come here to get the coffee, so don't worry."

"I'm a fairly regular customer here and order in and visit there for dinner about once a month. I tend to stay with the entrees and usually find them to be pretty good and reasonably priced. Anyway, for a change I decided to order in a pizza this evening...this was a mistake. A very dry cardboard-like crust, uninspiring toppings, and sub-par cheese. It really reminded me of a grocery store-bought frozen pie and is not what one expects in a suburban NY area pizza restaurant. Bottom line...Amici is a very decent place with reasonable prices, and a good value for casual Italian dining. Just steer away from the pizza."

"Great spot in Nyack!. On a recent trip to NY with my 3 children we enjoyed a delicious brunch at Johnny Cakes in Nyack. The signature dish (corn pancakes we ordered filled with yogurt granola) was unique and tasty, and the portion size was huge. We also ordered the Southwestern Omelett and Egg Forentin, who were super and very fresh and also large portions. Chocolate chip pancakes were let down by children in a few minutes and there were happy thumbs all over the world. The reject ambiance is great. The service was friendly, professional and attentive, and we will definitely be back!!!"

"They dont wear gloves or wash their hands. They touch peoples money, cards, and the register then touch all the food without washing hands or changing gloves. Even after i politely asked them to put gloves on when they removed my pizza from the oven. Worker put gloves on then cashed out another customer, didnt change the gloves, and got that customers pizza and mine. When i spoke to them about the whole point being not touching dirty money, cards and the register then the food. They became very rude. Would not recommend this place. You would think people would take more precautions during the COVID pandemic, not less. I did try the pizza since i had already paid for. Honestly wasnt anything special ended up tossing it, just wasnt worth it."
