"Very unassuming little place. Don’t be put off by the bright lighting and unusual music as the very well priced food is the big plus here. Courteous staff (owners? and friendly attitude. Full of locals on the Friday night we visited. Foie Gras and chicken very tasty and cheaply priced wine was great quality. Perfect place before heading home to the UK. Will return."

"Stayed here for one night and was very satisfied. The room is circa 80 Euros a night and for that we had a nice room, modern décor, with double bed, bathroom, separate toilet and a walk in wardrobe for clothes and bags – oh and a nice view over the river. Should also mention quality bed linen and a bed with a firm mattress (too firm for the wife) which I loved – I slept really well. Flat screen TV and wifi so pretty good. My only observation was that I would have expected a shower at this price as opposed to a hand shower over the bath. Breakfast was a further 11 euros and pretty average – so next time we would skip this Happily return and recommend"

"This is a lovely place, ideal for a stopover. Yes, as previously mentioned, the hotel rooms are modern, but they are warm and spotlessly clean, ours had a wonderful view of the river and waterwheel. We stayed on Christmas Eve and ate in the restaurant. Traditional French cuisine, lots of locals enjoying the ambience. Service was fabulous, the 3 waiters/waitresses made carrying plates of food and trays of drinks up the curved wooden staircase look easy. Breakfast was more than adequate, good selection and plenty of it. We will certainly return to this lovely hotel."

"As most of the other people we came to the restaurant as we were staying in the hotel. The menu is good, but for several dishes we could notice the choice was made not to work with fresh ingredients. This was disappointing taking into account the prices charged. The restaurant has a great view make sure you have a window table) but the outside area needs maintenance. The restaurant was understaffed and that created a nervous atmosphere."

"We felt a little cheated when we arrived as most of the photographs featured on the website showed the wonderfully characterful building that the restaurant is in. The hotel rooms, by comparison are in a more modern building and are rather bijou .. While comfortable, we...didn't feel that they were value for money and in keeping with the standards of the adjoining restaurant."
