"Based on a week 's experience around Captiva 's restaurants most of which have one short coming or another to detract from a top level rating here is a preferred choice by way of overall upper end experience. "We were very excited to eat there at first. The staff does not make you feel welcome at all. Let me reiterate, the attitudes from the staff make you feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Take your kids elsewhere on the island. They don't want you there. Food was not at all worth the price. Go to the bubble room icecream shop, they at least act like they want your business. Very disappointing on a family vacation"

"This location is located on Captiva island in a little shopping center. They offer coffee and ice cream and a small gift shop. We will never go here again. If I could give it 0 stars I would but I have to chose at least 1. We used to stop here a lot and grab a coffee but last time the owner was rude, ignored us when we came in and continued her conversation for a good couple minutes before coming to help. She looked at us and continued to talk to the other employee. She almost seemed annoyed we were spending money. We ordered large ice coffees and they were about half full. We asked for a full coffee and to fill it up and her reply was you have enough, you don 't need anymore she was beyond rude and unpleasant and completely unprofessional. Who insults their customers!!! This was something that we have never experienced on the island as most places are very welcoming and friendly. Last year when we visited we stopped in three or four times and the fourth time was the worst. After that visit we honestly would rather spend money across the street at the new bubble room shop that also serves coffee or even give my money to Starbucks. I 'm not going to give my money to a local business that 's going to insult their customers and not even give you a full drink. I would absolutely tell you to stay away! It 's not worth the service and attitude."
