"It has already been mentioned that in Uhldingen-Mühlhofen many places with high-quality food offer in false modesty and incomprehensible understatement are merely “Kiosk” or “Fishtheke”. On the other hand, in my eyes the local “sea garden” does not deserve more than the label “Kiosk”. Strategically conveniently and centrally located, skippers from the nearby port and visitors from nearby Pfahlbauten are served. The flat roof building is very beautifully located in the middle of a well maintained urban green area, with great views of the lake. Also located here are the public toilet facilities, before it is a small bookstore (probably improvised), as well as memory and postcard editions. Souvenirs and cards can be paid at the same cash register as the drinks and meals of the Seegarten. At the time of my visit (beginning of September), the “Gastraum” was surrounded by floor-to-ceiling glass walls, but I could imagine that those can be taken away in summer. You sit more rustically on long wooden benches and chairs, and self-service is recommended. Culinary highlights can not be expected here, rather what the unpretentious swab would call a vasper: Viennese, sausage salad and land hunters, extra Chicken Nuggets and potato buffer (probably everything from the frituse), and various drinks. "Passeggiavamo nella parte bassa di Meersburg in cerca di un locale dove poter fare uno spuntino veloce per pranzo. Arrivati dinnanzi al Bistro Cafe Imbiss abbiamo notato un menù che faceva per noi e siamo entrati. Il locale è piccolino e non c'erano ancora altri avventori, ma all'interno diversi ragazzi giovani e molto cordiali che si davano un sacco da fare a preparare ed ad pulire, quasi stessero seguendo il ritmo della musica rock che veniva diffusa. Alla fine abbiamo optato per fish and chips, birra e caffè. Al di la della scelta piuttosto semplice, il cibo era buono ed abbiamo pranzato in fretta. Apprezzabile l'impegno di questi giovani."
