"A genuine French restaurant with real local atmosphere. Cycling by on Friday we booked a table for Saturday evening, fortunately so as this is a small establishment and other people were unable to get a table when they dropped in the busy staff were also preparing for large groups for Sunday lunch. The patron, as others have said, has a lovely warm, quirky sense of humour, and his wife is so helpful and friendly. As for the food we both were delighted with all the dishes on the 4 course 25€ menu. Steaks were delicious, and the cheese board superb. Highly recommended, and booking advisable."

"On the evening of July when the temperature had hit earlier we needed to find a cool place to eat ...this was indeed cool in temperature and had a cool vibe with young friendly staff. Everything was spotless and the starters and mains...were excellent. The aubergine and mozzarella starter was delicious. Huge carafe of wine about . Highly recommended....the town is famed for it’s own named cheese so perhaps that should have been on the menu!"
