"First you have to wait for what looks like an old one. they wonder why it takes so long, and then they know that the old ditherer had just lined for twenty minutes on the front side of the waiting line, but had not really disturbed to read the menu during their waiting period, so take them to decide even longer. when they finally made it to the front of the waiting queue themselves, they have to wait even longer until the food arrives. if it does, it is not bad at all (another quinoa supersalad, in my case). but one or two beers would have helped with all the waiting. updated by previous review on 2021-09-27"

"The hotel and dining room are so well presented that you are both comfortable and impressed as soon as you walk in. We were using a Sunday lunch voucher given to us as a present for our 50th wedding anniversary albeit eight months late! The service in the bar and dining room was excellent and we have never come across better. The starters and desserts were really special. The roast was what you would expect. Even reception was really friendly when we came to pay. It was a lovely experience thanks to all the staff. It certainly makes us want to return."
