"We visited a couple of years previously and were pleased to see this place hasn’t changed. Lovely outdoor atmosphere, run by a kind family and mosquito spray available which is a bonus. We came at the start of the quiet season when lots of places were closed but this one was open, and very welcoming. Prices are good and the variety of food is good too lots for vegetarians and all tasty. Recommended."

"An incredible culinary experience admittedly unexpected tucked away on an island so remote. The ambience was welcoming and personable, yet the service was on point. My meal: a mixed salad for starter, very fresh with balsamic and home baked brown bread. Then a lasagna bolognese for the main, very flavorful, incredibly filling, obviously made with a lot of love. A rainstorm came so I had no choice but to wait it out with a phenomenal tiramisu for dessert. Good thing I went to the gym earlier ‘cause I was stuffed. Highly recommend this place. The owner puts his heart into everything and makes sure your experience is a good one."

"They have a seperate menu for vegetarian, I had the cured tofu that was excellent. it is a tourist place, but intentional. they also skip the fruit shakes, I asked if they have fresh fruits, but I think I saw that they take a packed juice out of the refrigerator. too sweet. nice staff. sometimes live music."

"We did not expect to find delicious pizzas on koh lanta and I certainly did not expect to find buffalo mozzarella (I cant get it at home), however we did. A great specials board gave me a yummy thin crispy buffalo mozzarella, basil, tomato and olive pizza full of flavour and my other half had the salami pizza which was topped with proper tasty Italian salami. Both were much bigger than we expected for the price. Our appetite was whet first with complimentary mini garlic breads and bruschetta and ended with complimentary fruit- beautiful touch. We couldn't finish all our pizza in one sitting however they happily packaged it up for takeaway and it made amazing breakfast! Lovely relaxed atmosphere right on the main road. Absolutely worth a visit."

"Very disappointing. We went twice and were overcharged twice. Two days ago we ordered food and 2 mocktails at happy hour. The waitress overcharged us at the regular price but was quick to correct it. Tonight we decided to reserve the treehouse for the Songkran Party however we were very disappointed. We arrived at 6pm and the receptionist at Crown Lanta had not reserved our table and so it took a while for them to find us an alternative. We’d also spoken to the staff about the buffet and they specified that there would be a variety of food (naming a few dishes as well) however when we arrived we were disappointed to find out that none of the ones mentioned were available so we decided to order separately off the menu. When we asked for the receipt to pay we noticed we were once again overcharged. We ordered food and 4 chang beers. They had a deal buy 3 get 1 free and it was also happy hour therefore the cost should have been 80 baht per beer with buy 3 get 1 free coming to 240 baht in total. We were disappointed to find out they had charged us 115 baht per beer for the buy 4 get 1 free which came to 345 baht. It would have been more cost effective to have bought 4 beers separately at 80 baht per beer which comes to 320 in total for the happy hour special. After some discussion they finally reduced the price from 345 to 240 . The reggae bar has a nice design, has great music however the prices are very high and the overcharging was very disappointing especially when you are paying such high prices already."
