The drinks were taken about 5 minutes after entering. They recommended local wines for us to try, and with their help we discovered new varieties we'd never tried before and enjoyed very much (tip: try the Schwarze Reisling! ...The dining room is cosy and comfortable and decorated for Christmas. The food was delicious kitchen sent our complimentary goose fat to eat with bread first. German food at Christmas is DEADLY for your diet. I tried to be restrained by ordering the beef broth with one large, tasty liver dumpling floating in it; along with a large and colourful salad. My friend had Maultaschen, a local specialty, which she said was one of the best she'd had. This is definitely a nice place to eat when visiting Dinkelsbuhl, and do ask the waiters for their recommendations on wine you might make a great discovery!"
