"I took my mother to this pub recently and we both agreed it was great. When I asked about accessibility the person on the phone was very helpful and offered to reserve a convenient parking space. The pub itself is very nice inside, well presented and has a good ambience. The service was first class, friendly and attentive without ever being intrusive. The menu featured several tempting offerings; we both settled for sea bass, which was perfectly cooked. If I want to be picky the broccoli cauli were a bit on the soft side for me, but that's personal preference and it didn't spoil my enjoyment. And then the big test....the syrup sponge with custard. Would there be a proper amount of custard or just a tiny little poxy pot on the side? I'm happy to report that this was a slam dunk, and I found myself eagerly facing a sponge island in the middle of a sea of custard....outstanding!"

"Lovely atmosphere and smoothies are to die for Parking: Parking is an issue as it is by the train station. I recommend doing your shopping in Waitrose across the road and then popping in for a lovely coffee, hot chocolate and something yummy. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch"

"The cheeseburgers are great with speck, but they need a soak as they are a bit too dry (I add ketchup) the portions are generous and the staff are friendly. can be busy, so they come to a table early, but the turnover is fast. they also make a vegan option."

"Service was very good. Food was tasty although not top notch. Some of the ingredient combinations were slightly misconceived e.g samphire with a creamy mustard sauce…. Both nice flavours but didn’t go well together and the samphire is too delicate to be paired with such a sauce which just overpowered it. Desserrr was nice but nothing special."

"Was really looking forward to coming here after reading the reviews but whilst the place itself is lovely I found the coffee to taste burnt. May be a blip so would give it another go."

"Had an amazing lunch. Could not fault the food or service, all were excellent. Amazing surroundings. Sat there for lunch for 3 hours and at no time were we rushed in any way. Lovely staff who gave us a fantastic service all afternoon"

"The best indian takeaway in the South East(I've been to plenty). The best curries I have ever had. Gave some complimentary refreshments when I arrived which I have never seen before in a takeaway. The food was amazing and definitely need to come back again. Would absolutely recommend it."

"I have seen scampî s on another table and there were big so I ordered the same. The guy came with small ones. I told him why small when I have seen big on another table. The guy said we put more when they are small. I told him I want big because they taste better and than he started to argue. My friend had spare ribs that were full of ketchup. Really nothing special there and no wonder the place was empty with 5 clients where it was a 40 people place..."

"I absolutely love this place!! Went there last night. There was a bit of a wait for the food as it was packed, probably because they won the award for national takeaway. The decor is of the highest quality I’ve ever seen in a takeaway. It was worth the wait for the food as it was delicious. Will be back again for sure."
