"We have booked this hotel around the 20th february for 2 nights for clacton air show 21st 22nd august to find out the most recent owners are going to Spain with any money, so we had to arrive 1 night on Wednesday 20th august. we were kindly left to park as the windows were not where to park in everything was nice in our room, the lakes were dirty"

"The Menu presented was very limited and not the one shown on the website. On selecting a bottle of wine from the list presented to us then five minutes later told that it was not available and we had been given the wrong Wine List. Our first course of whitebait was vastly overcooked, the steak was passable. On the whole, very disappointing."

"Hid the room for my sons, the baptism, and phil couldn't do enough for us. all the tables were put on table clothing when we arrived. the communication before was fab check all the details that made our day run smoothly. we had the bar open and the staff was fast and friendly, the prices were really good thanks phil and staff"

"Vintage Inns are usually nice quality, but my Sunday Roast was under par. The beef wasn't a nice flavour, the parsnips tasted of the tin they were roasted in and the Roast potatoes were a bit leathery. Never been here before so don't know if it was the norm They can't get right every time, but wouldn't be put off by today's experience."
