"We wilden de betrouwbaarheid testen van de o.a.d. lijst die door foodies is samengesteld. De restaurants in Parijs zijn hierin royaal vertegenwoordigd. Neige d’Eté is in de Europese lijst 2017 op de 82e plaats te vinden. Gereserveerd voor de lunch op woensdag. Het restaurant ligt niet heel ver van de Eiffeltoren maar ligt toch aardig verscholen in een woonwijk. Een klein naambordje op de raam verraad dat je goed zit. De ramen zijn geblindeerd door een dikke vitrage. De deur gaat pas open om 12:30. Er was inmiddels een groepje bij de voordeur verzameld. Het restaurant is verdeeld over twee ruimtes. Meteen links na de ingang is de receptie gecombineerd met de bar. De inrichting netjes en redelijk eenvoudig met een open keuken. We kregen een ronde tafel aan het raam keurig ingedekt met hieraan comfortabele stoelen, prima. Het aperitief werd opgenomen en de menukaart kwam op tafel. Deze was duidelijk iets minder indrukwekkend dan verwacht maar er waren wel mogelijkheden om het menu een stuk luxer te maken met kaviaar of truffel tegen serieuze prijzen. Hier paste we voor.Ik ga nu we nog op vakantie zijn niet het hele gehele menu gedetailleerd beschrijven. Beknopt kan ik stellen dat het voorgerecht een salade caprese was. Het tussengerecht een gebakken visje met ravigote saus. Het hoofdgerecht was een kotelet en het dessert een kersentaartje met amandel. Samengevat kan ik stellen dat ik behoorlijk onder de indruk was van de kwaliteit van de ingrediënten, de geweldige wijze van bereiden en van de uitgekiende smakencombinaties die allemaal net iets verfijnder waren dan op de kaart uitgeschreven. Komt nog eens bij dat de begeleidende wijnen van grote klasse waren.Bediening was uitstekend verzorgd, er waren behoorlijk wat personeelsleden voor zo'n relatief klein restaurant. Het was wel helemaal uitverkocht. De gerechten werden door de witte brigade uitgeserveerd, leuk dat de chef zelf ook enkele gerechten heeft uitgeserveerd. De sommelier heeft een dikke pluim verdiend voor het selecteren van mooie wijnen.Prijs-kwaliteitverhouding vond ik uitstekend.Samengevat ben ik blij dat er een o.a.d lijst is anders had ik dit pareltje nooit gevonden. Een aanrader voor de liefhebbers van mooie pure smaken en wijn liefhebbers."
