"Went here with 2 friends, was craving tasty Mexican food. Was very busy, 7.30pm on a Sat. Food and drinks took over 30mins, portions were tiny, I got 3 different tacos and a fried burrito. Was fresh but not that tasty, pretty disappointed in the tacos. Onion rings were great but again very small portion. Got a pitcher of margarita, but no glasses? Had to wait another 10 mins for salt rim glasses. Staff seemed to be working very hard, just understaffed for such a busy night."

"Ok for a snack or late dinner but that's it.<br/>Ran out of rice yet still charged full price. The restaurant is messy and they always have one of their booths untidily taken up with admin stuff.<br/>Staff appear to be rude or disinterested, and the boss who I saw once was ranting about how much he works, boo hoo, join the club.<br/>In saying that, like I said, it's ok, just don't expect it to b brilliant"

"Great concept for a breakfast and lunch café - whole foods and healthy eating, but this café really didn't hit the mark for me. The staff were extremely lovely and the café nice and warm (important as the temperature was under 5C at 9am!). However the food was a big disappointment. One of my poached eggs was lovely but the other was undercooked (slimy runny white - *shudder*). The toast was nice but the tiny disc of butter that accompanied it was only big enough to cover one slice. I asked for my bacon to be extra crispy. This wasn't achieved - with one piece being not at all crisp and the other 2 too hard to cut. The pieces were very small too. I found the coffee to be undrinkable. I'm normally not too fussy about coffee but this was oddly thick for a long black and most unpleasant. My friend's Mexican eggs liked nice. Overall very disappointing and I won't return."

"Guzman y Gomez is probably the most visible take-out place around Canberra Centre. Both times I went here it was rather full, but they get your order done rather quickly. I tried the nacho fries (spicy) and the chicken and brisket tacos (mild). Both items hit the spot. Tacos are a bit messy if you're doing take out, but is there a tex-mex place where that doesn't happen? Decent amount of indoor seating and there's some tables outside next to the park. Would recommend, worth a go if you need something fast."
