"We ate there at the recommendation of our B and B host. There was no prices on either of the 2 menus food from the sea and land) and we were charged 73 euro for what was a very mediocre meal including a whopping 12 euro for a jug of Table wine!!!! We've been paying 3 or 4 euros for better wine elsewhere in Sardinia. The fritto misto was charged at 15 euros and was basically some deepfried squid and a few prawns. The seafood spaghetti was mainly made up of half pieces of small crab that were too fiddly to be sucking on!! We've had many great meals for alot less in Sardinia this week. Disappointing and ripped off as no prices on the menu."

"The first night in Bosa, our restaurant representative made us a reservation at Verde Fiume at short notice. I unwisely chose a pork variety plate, all the lowest end cuts, too much meat, and another item. Normally at such a seaside spot, I would/should have chosen fish. My wife chose a pasta. We sat a long time waiting for service. Fortunately the location was pleasant, along the river (hence the name) looking at the wall separating our table from that sight. But tired, and having not encountered the practice in Costa Smeralda, and not remembering it elsewhere on trips to Italy and elsewhere in Europe in the past, we ultimately discovered that we were supposed to go inside to pay after finishing. Flagging down a waiter was not a possible option. In their defense, these servers were moving fast and working hard."

"Tired of the fixed price tourist traps in the central piazze then come here and eat well with the locals! Over the Ponte Vecchio to the 'other side ' then down Via Nazionale 200m and you 're there excellent seafood menu at sensible prices populated by people who know good fish when they eat it also nice looking pizza! To cover the range do as Italians often do these days share the plates with your partner/friends that way you get to try the antipasto, primo and secondo and can still walk away! So succulent octopus and potatoes, generous and very tasty spaghetti allo scoglio, tender tasty swordfish, smoky grilled squid big juicy prawns you 'll be well pleased for sure! Oh and the local bianco is cheap decent what 's not to like??"
