"I have always found the quality at Belper Fish bar good however following a visit yesterday it will be a long time before I go there again! The chips were disgusting and not fresh and if I could make a guess they were lunchtime leftovers. It was also disappointing that we couldn’t sit in to eat given that most places are now open. I also question quantity given and the potential for waste as surely this is something to be considered for the environment. Very disappointing that standards have dropped as this used to be the best fish and chip shop in Belper."

"Not a great atmosphere, other customers were rude and had to wait with them, even though we had booked. I like to think I am an experienced curry/Indian/Bangladeshi connoisseur and have to say this was below average at above average prices. The lamb chop starter was pitiful and expensive, the lamb chops were very small. The curries were OK but nothing special and small portions. The waitress was very nice and friendly however. Overall came for a special occasion but was not worth it. Would not come again unfortunately."
