"Came here for afternoon tea to celebrate my sister's big birthday. We were made very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Nice selection of sandwiches I'm not a fan of mayonnaise the ham and mustard were super tasty proper thick ham. Scones were warm with plenty of clotted cream and jam, the other sweet treats were delicious. Amazing selection of teas. We were very well looked after. Everything was beautifully presented even the children had their own cakes stands. Would highly recommend a visit the grounds were beautiful."

"Blackmore Tea Room does what it says on the tin. Service was good, food was lovely (we had the High Tea) and felt we got value for money. The property is old and lovely but I felt the decor was a little jaded/faded/dusty. The menu is good, without trying to do too much but the laminated menus felt sticky and not clean. The cutlery also failed to impress. They do a super delux High Tea which we would happily have ordered but you have to pre book at least hours before arriving . . . Bit pointless having this on the menu.Sounds as if I’m being picky; I’m just being honest. To be clear, I would definitely go again. I would definitely pre book the super delux monster High Tea!"
