"We ate there right on the 1st day after the restaurant holiday. We really liked the upscale ambience. We were greeted warmly, we were the only guests. "Wir wollten zum Abschluss unseres Urlaubes in Damüls nochmal richtig nett essen gehen - das Restaurant konnte aber leider nicht halten, was es verspricht. Vorausschicken muss man dazu wohl, dass die Hotel seinen Gästen am Dreikönigstag ein festlichen Menü breitet hat und wir nie das Gefühl ganz loswerden konnten, irgendwie lästig zu sein, obwohl wir am Vortag reserviert haben. Zur Chronologie in Stichworten:1. Ein ziemlich mürrischer Ober hat uns im Wintergarten (Bar-Bereich) platziert - dem Feiertag geschuldet;2. Da die Kinder die vier Standard-Gerichte (Fischstäbchen, Spaghetti, Chicken-Nuggets, Schnitzel) nicht mehr sehen konnten, haben wir um eine halbe Portion Käsespätzle (von der Karte) und eine kleine Portion Spätzle mit Sauce (nicht auf der Karte) gebeten - Kommentar des Obers: "Küche hat viel zu tun - müssen erst sehen, ob das geht"War dann aber möglich...3. Kalbsbries als Vorspeise geordert - Antwort des Obers: "Ist leider aus"4. Hirschgulasch als Hauptspeise geordert - Antwort des Obers: "Ist leider aus"Habe mich dann für Wienerschnitzel entschieden- das war OK5. Das Risotto meiner Frau war definitiv nicht gar (mehr als bissfest) - wurde von der Küche korrigiert, aber nicht ohne die Nachricht vom Küchenchef, dass ein Risotto nicht weich gekocht sein darf (was es nach der Korrektur auch immer noch nicht war);6. Schokoparfait als Nachspeise geordert - Antwort des Obers: "Ist leider aus" Spätestens hier merkte man, dass es Ihm peinlich wurde und er hat versucht, die Situation mit einer (zugegebenermaßen guten) Marille auf's Haus zu retten.Fazit: Ich war bereit, überdurchschnittlich viel Geld für ein überdurchschnittliches Abendessen in schöner Atmosphäre auszugeben und das ist diesmal leider schief gegangen."
