"Definitely the best food we had in Carmel the 3 days we visited for. Sadly, we made a reservation primarily to try the potato pancake and they were out. Wanted to go back again but they’re also closed on Monday Tuesday. Sad we missed out but will definitely be back someday when we visit again."

"Joe the Line After a busy day, we had a few minutes to kill before our dinner reservation at Sur, so we decided to get a cuppa Joe to perk us up. In business since '84, this old skool spot roasts their own certified organic beans in a vintage '40s Farina Italian Coffee Roaster, and feature custom blends, single origin and flavored mixes to suit everyone 's palette. The Good: *Nice outdoor space *Coffee! *Carissa 's Blueberry Iced Tea def tasted like blueberries. : The Meh: *Mocha was OK but wasn 't mixed well as there were still grainy bits of Ghirardelli chocolate mix in there. *Customer service was completely nonplussed. I was trying to get an extra shot added to my Mocha, and she explained to me there 's already two shots of espresso in there. I said, Great now, give me one more (I 'm a coffee caffeine whore fyi . She seemed to understand, but I don 't think it happened.
