"Can't believe I've been here for 21 years and never was in Kobe. It was great! The Mignon file was juicy and delicate. I got all the chicken bites that the chef did to me too, so there is! The virgin strawberry daiquiri was delish! I'm back!"

"This Japanese restaurant is so basic. The food was bland; I could have cooked better food at home. I very rarely go out to dinner but I happened to visit this location for a family member 's birthday. I 'm not a small person, but I do have personal goals I am trying to reach. That being said, I asked for the children 's portion of the teriyaki chicken. Rather than accepting my request, I received a comment of I mean, are you just not that hungry? to which I kindly responded, I 'm trying to eat smaller portions, thanks. But, that 's not where it ended. Apparently, you cannot be allowed to order a child 's size portion if you 're an adult. That 's absurd. I don 't want 5 pounds of rice. I only want 1 cup, okay? Rather than question my state of hunger based on my size, kindly inform me that the child size portions are only for children 9 and under. Or, you could put my request in the computer and smile and move on about your night. Heads up!!!! If you 're an individual who 's looking to enjoy themselves at a restaurant, but also trying to be conscious of portion control, I would strongly advise you avoid this place, or prepare yourself to be thrown off by rudeness. How it ended? I ordered sushi. The end. (Complete BS! I only rated 2 stars because our Chef Peter was entertaining and super friendly. This disaster of a restaurant doesn 't deserve the remaining stars due to rudeness."

"Avoid this property at all costs. Here's what I shared with our event coordinator: There are only 3 reasons someone would stay at that hotel: 1. That's the only hotel they could afford. It's cheap and now I know why. 2. Someone else is paying the bill and told you to stay there e.g., the load of construction workers who check and out every week. 3. Some forces you to choose that hotel because it's what's available in a travel agent shortlist that was created for something like this tournament. I don't know whether Leesburg forced HBC to put it on the list to prop up a failing property, or if somebody is getting kickbacks, or whatever, but no one should have to stay there vs. choosing a better property. Kudos go to Andrew the restaurant manager bartender. He was the diamond in the rough. Here's my list of deficiencies as I recall it. Broken toilet (noticed immediately upon check-in, and switched rooms. Broken blinds in 2nd room. Requested repair but the repair was subpar. What's the point of blinds that don't close and block out the light? Roaches (team-mate's room Overflowing toilet (team-mate's room Ants (Our room Requests for housekeeping ignored 2 days in a row (first time we asked the housekeeper herself, so maybe that doesn't count, but the second time the woman at the desk said the room assignments for housekeeping hadn't even been printed but still we weren't accounted for. Pool towels run out and aren't ever replenished (during that day. Card-keys that constantly stopped functioning (everyone in the hotel Heavy mirrors hazardously hung from walls with inappropriate hardware (I found this in our room during checkout accidentally Horrendously slow and understaffed front-desk team. If there are metrics on how long industry average it takes to service guests at the front desk, they're 300%-500% beyond it. Filthy hallways (dental picks and shaving trash on the floor for multiple days. Overflowing garbage (in rooms and in public receptacles. This hotel is woefully understaffed, but in the hope of reaping a big payday from the forced occupancy they're trying to hack it and are failing. This hotel should only be hosting guests up to their resource capacity and no further. I think this should be enough to disqualify a hotel like this from consideration, and worth investigating how it was on the list for this tournament."
