"My family and I loved our stay here. The staff was super friendly and spoke English well. They clearly care about their guests and their stay. There were plenty of instructions and information in English as well. They also had plenty of English-language guides and maps to Nagoya and the surrounding areas. It's typical Japanese-style guest house living. We stayed in the Japanese room, which easily could fit four futons on the tatami mats and was a tight fit for five futons (normally the limit is four). The shower rooms were private, had nice stalls with soap, shampoo, and conditional, and had plenty of hot water. Bring a towel or plan to rent one. Probably the biggest detractor was that the walls and doors were thin and any noise carried, but the other guests were generally respectful of the quiet hours. We cooked ramen in the small common area kitchenette using the provided kitchen and dining ware and ate at the common room table. The small care and restaurant downstairs was very nice and welcoming. We even got to enjoy a local jazz group playing downstairs one Sunday night."
