"Visited Gustos as a treat for my husband's birthday (we travelled from the north east). I agonised over whether to go to Gusto or Matou which we also love. I'm pleased to report I chose Gusto to enjoy the birthday celebrations. Food second to none and service and staff attentiveness is up there with the very best we have had. Slight mix up with the meal, but no major deal so we were pleasantly surprised when one of the managers came over to apologise in person and gave us a bottle of rose on the house. Great ambience and buzz about the place and the staff really do seem to go above and beyond. We will be back whenever we visit Liverpool"

"Been here a few times now, I think it is one of the best value restaurants in Liverpool. Lovely setting in the outdoor area. We ordered the mixed grill which was superb: lamb chops, souvlaki, chips all excellent, and me and my son were satisfiably stuffed for £30. Service really good and when I wanted to leave a tip, server confirmed that the tips go to them and not into the owners pocket (for me this is really important! Highly recommended."

"As always the food was good, however, expected more in the way of Covid safe practice. The plastic menus were shared by all customers and not cleaned in between (specials clipped to wooden boards and not changed or cleaned). They were simply put back on the bar and then given out to next customers. We went on a Tuesday and so benefited from the £10 per person reduction, however they would not take the additional 10% off for the Liverpool independent card said it was one or the other, despite the £10 Gov. scheme (which they claim back) should be in addition to their usual offers... left feeling disappointed as this is the first restaurant we came back to after lockdown. It used to be our favourite but rethinking now! What a shame."

"I love Yo Sushi and was so happy when a new one opened in Liverpool (I had been travelling to Manchester for a monthly fix). Everything is just as fantastic as in all the other branches. Will be spending lots of my hard earned cash here. REMEMBER: Sushi is not raw fish. Sushi is a particular type of flavoured rice which forms the basis of all the different rolls etc. Sashimi is raw fish."

"Very disappointed, food, although delicious, had very small portions, particularly the mains. When asked if we were happy with our food, we stated that the portions were tiny, and that we would not be returning.
