"Meiner Mutter und mir wurde ein 2er Tisch zugewiesen, an dem wir uns nicht wohlfühlten. Nachdem einige Tische frei wurden, fragten wir höflich ob einer dieser Tische noch reserviert wäre, wir würden gerne wechseln. Die Bedienung antwortete mit einem einem kurzen und patzigen NEIN. Seit Jahren essen wir regelmäßig im Klabautermann, aber so etwas habe ich hier noch nie erlebt. Die Krönung war, als die Bedienung äußerte, wenn meine 75jährige Mutter BITTE gesagt hätte ...Leider hatten wir schon bestellt. Der Appetit ist uns bei dieser Unverschämtheit vergangen, somit haben wir uns das Essen einpacken lassen und sind gegangen.In unserer Ferienwohnung haben wir festgestellt, das der Salat fehlte. Leider kann ich auch nicht sagen, das die Menues appetitlich verpackt waren. Es gibt auf Amrum in dieser Preisklasse auch andere Restaurants wie der Südstrand in Wittdün oder das Preesters Hüs in Nebel usw.Klabautermann adieu"

"We made the Keksdose our daily meal option during our weeks holiday on Amrum. They have a good range of meals for all tastes and have a good vegetarian selection. Probably not for vegans but as a veggie, I wasn't disappointed. The service was great and we were well looked after by the lovely blond girl working there.It is also open all afternoon, which in Wittdün seems to be a rarity. Nothing bad to say about this place at all. Keep it up !!"
