"We've been driving through Polizzi Generosa a couple of times during the day always wondering where this Pizzeria might be for which a sign is pointing seemingly to nowhere. Turned out a fully-fledged pizzeria and restaurant is hidden behind what looks like a garage door during daytime. It's only open in the evening. Since the other nice restaurant in town, the ITRA was closed due to vacation we've been to this pizzeria once. The staff was really nice and helpful. They didn't fully understand English but we managed to communicate what was needed to get through our dinner. We've had surprisingly good wine and in the end we also good some Limoncello on the house. Well worth a visit!"

"We sought this place out on the recommendation of Slowfood and were happy we did. The foods of the mountainous regions inland from the coast are special in their own way, including fresh pasta made with wild mushrooms and wild asparagus, homemade sausage, etc. As they say, the true flavors of the Madonie are there, along with friendly service. The house wine is just OK, the food probably deserves better."
