"I just saw the response to my original post and I have to say I was really impressed by it. The response feels genuine like I said before I know how hard it can be to be constantly cheerful for the public. We’ll be back and I’m changing my rating to five starts. I really appreciate the apology and the response. Original Post: We've been going here for years and years. The staff changes constantly so service has always been so so (although if you are lucky enough to catch Ziggy, an owner, he's amazing). I come from a restaurant family, and I'm well aware of how difficult it is to deal with the public and so I don't usually get offended by a salty attitude. This morning I was bringing my girls to school and we stopped in they got their usual, a cinnamon roll for one and a jalapeño sausage croissant for the other. We stepped outside to eat: they usually warm the croissant, but this morning it wasn't warmed. I told my daughter to go back inside and ask them to warm it (I believe that it's Ziggy's bro in law working the counter) she was nervous and I told her it would be fine, they weren’t busy and to go ahead. Well no she got a lecture about how she was supposed to ask when it was ordered, that he usually won't heat the food if you ask after it's ordered. After the lecture he did warm it, but she was mortified. She’s 13, very soft spoken and very polite. I don't understand this but I don't need to. There are plenty of other bakeries we can give our money to, so no worries Patisserie you won’t have to warm our pastries anymore."

"Food was very good. The pastas are amazing and even the kale Caesar salad was thoughtful and well done. Two small recommendations: we felt a bit rushed in taking our order and getting our food. We would have liked a few minutes to enjoy our cocktails before ordering. This also happened the last time I was there for a business dinner The Lemoncello was served at room temp. Should be ice cold. Couldnât finish it I highly recommend Avo and will go back again."

"When we lived in Nola, Midway Pizza was a regular go to for us. During a recent trip, the hubs requested that I bring him back a Midway Pizza to eat. That 's all he wanted from Nola. I went to Midway and spoke to Steve to ask about the best method to travel with the pizza for about a 6 hour trip in an insulated bag. He came up with the great idea to bake the pizza halfway, leave the topping on the side, then once we got home we were able to place the toppings on the complete the bake. It took about 20 minutes at 400 degrees in the oven on a basic pizza pan. It turned out great! Of course not the same as getting it fresh from the oven at Midway, but it certainly satisfied the craving he had for the Midway Pizza. Just wanted to thank Steve for his great idea and post this on here in case anyone else is ever wondering 'Can I take one of these home with me some hours away? ' The answer is Yes!"

"Got a honey whole wheat and cinnamon raisin bagel with strawberry cream cheese. Both tasted like garlic and onion so clearly mixed with the everything bagels at some point. Cream cheese was bland and not sweet at all. Sorry to say this was a bad experience, hopefully it’s an anomaly."

"The food was absolutely delicious. I was quite surprised with the flavors and freshness of it all.It was a lot more expensive than i was anticipating$24 for the 5 pc chicken tender meal is wild. It is something you can share with another person if youre not too hungry. You get two sides and two biscuits.But overall, we spent $60 for the one meal and two drinks after tax and tip. Not quite what i was expecting for such a casual atmosphere and take away style spot.But i would visit it again, just not frequently ."
