"We visit often Morella with his magnificent castle and walls. It is the first time visiting 'La fonda ' since change his management few months ago, and the experience became astonishing. "Yesterday 25th January 2017 we went up to Morella for a change. Lovely town, plenty of snow and great atmosphere. Around lunchtime we started to look for somewhere in the town to eat but decided against and so we just got in the car and had a think. Now, we've been to Morella countless times and always found the restaurants on the N232 the best value for money and so we got back onto the N232 and travelled maybe a quarter of a mile south and we were at the first eatery. We went into El Cazador and was met by a roaring log burner so the place was lovely and warm, good job as there was a good foot of snow outside. We got seated at a table, ordered beverage and food, plenty of choice, and soaked up the surroundings. We noticed families, couples and local tradesmen so it was pretty full. The food came and we scoffed the lot, well not all as we took some to Effie the effin' dog who was waiting patiently in the car! What can one say other than excellent, and at only €10 each for the food, the water, the gaseosa, the wine AND the coffee......we'll be back."
