"I've been to this place twice. First trip was good service and ok food. The 2nd trip I decided to bring 10 friends and family. We arrived and the waitress seated us and took our drink order. One of our guest decided to go check the buffet out and was pointing his finger towards the back of the establishment letting everyone in our party see how big the food spread was. All of a sudden the head waiter came out and started screaming at him for no reason. It took the nice waitresses to calm this crazed waiter down. We were shocked by his rudeness. While we were eating, the same waitress apologized several times while the head guy just stood the at his station. The waitress said they would give us a good discount because of what happen. When we got the bill she only took off $4 dollars from a $88 dollar bill. We won't be going there again !"

"Japanese American restaurant in the casual, “Izakaya” style, which has been gaining popularity in the states amongst “Foodies” and weekend warriors alike, Nijiya, offers a range Japanese fare. Best in Nac, for sure. Haven’t been to the new location since it opened, but I’m sure it’s just as good as the other two. Family owned and operated, locally for about 15 years, and never had any complaints. (Pro tip #223-ask if they have any hamachi kama available...but keep that on the low!!"

"This place is the slowest place in all Nacogdoches. I watched people get up, leave their tables because they weren't helped. Especially if you work for Door Dash, this place is bad for business. They'll stop you for so long, you miss all the better lines. There is no excuse for that. Be EMPTY, you can still not get food in time. STAY FAR AWAY OF THIS PLACE!"
