"A friend recommended a shop in a small alsacien village, where wondrful foie gras was to be had. So we went there, and bought outstanding stuff. Also we discovered that next door and belonging to the same Maison Metzler was a restaurant with a very...promising menu. So we booked a table for dinner. And what a dinner we had! Everything was perfect. Great ingredients prepared with loving care. We chose the gourmet meny, which at 53 euros including wine for every course, was nearly a steal. To start we had a generous slice of delicious foie gras decorated with a rose cut from a ripe tomato. Then came fish soft and tasty rainbow trout on a bed of risotto and creamy saffron sause. Lovely. We still had enough room for the filet of beef with wine sauce, sauteed mushrooms, vegetables, and potato gratin. And the pudding was heavenly. Apple puree ind a purse of extremely thin and crispy mille feuille, and a vanilla ice to die for. The accompanying wines were nearly all local, as the village is well known for its Alsacian wines. Very good they were too. Very friendly and efficient cervice made this a wonderful farewell dinner for a cauple of friends. We`ll be back!"

The adults had a weekend menu at a very reasonable price, and an excellent dessert (apple soufflé and ice cream) from the menu. The treatment was very good, and even a waitress spoke a little Spanish although the maître d' speaks English without any problem. A recommended place."

"Même si nous n'habitons pas à côté, nous y allons occasionnellement depuis des années. La dernière fois, c'était avec un groupe de randonneurs. On n'y va pas pour les chichis, la salle est simple mais l'essentiel n'est pas là. Nous avons toujours été bien accueillis, la cuisine est bonne et copieuse. Service aimable et disponible. Cette fois-ci nous avons mangé des moules vraiment excellentes, recette pas banale, l'avis a été unanime. Prix doux, rapport qualité/prix excellent. Pour un apéro, moules-frites copieuses, dessert, vin, eau, café, nous en avions pour 25 € par personne. Un resto authentique. Nous reviendrons."

Not even a little lover mouth to go with what a pity. entries: good snails but problem on both fat. already the presentation made it difficult to see!! I've never received such a sad fat once. but excellent to taste in addition and with a part of nerve. dishes: we don't change the cutlery and don't take the knife that goes well for the beef fillet. They say, cene comes when not. Beef with good but huge piece. big problem of presentation, no effort, it looks like a plate of canteen, shameful to serve a plate of 30 euros in a restaurant of this standing with no care. The accompanying potatoes were not good, from the recuit... no doubt. Ask for fries instead, disgusting. and yet we are not hard. my burger was good but a little sniffy, too much sauce, it's no longer what it was with the pretty presentation and the ognion ring. rarely we don't end, but now it was frankly not a treat. no dessert and salted addition.
