"Our dinner in the latest restaurant of the ship was wonderful. I don't know much German, but the waitress spoke great English and helped us a ton! the dishes were all handmade with so much love, they could say how they even brought them the...meat before it was boiled and told them where it got from. none of their food comes from more than 100 km away, and all the crumbled and veg are made directly outside the restaurant. delicious and tedious when you are in hittisau!"

Wir wurden aber mit einer Vorsuppe bei Laune gehalten. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut, die Karte ist gut gefüllt. Es werden viele Wildgerichte angeboten. Alles in allem weiterzuempfehlen."

"Ate here in July. Evening dinner. Excellent service, food was superb in terms of preparation, presentation and quality. Definitely stands out compared to the more typical Austrian Hotel/Gastehaus cuisine. Great ambiance. However the pricing was slightly excessive which is a shame. We had several meals at various good quality establishments across the Bregenzerwald and the Gasthof Krone was 20 - 25% higher. Difficult to justify. If it wasn't for this we would have no hesitation in awarding five stars."
