"We had not tasted wines from this D.O., so were looking forward to the opportunity to taste the offerings of one of the prominent producers. We were not disappointed. The tasting room, or bodegas, is in town, on the main road near the highway entrance. We had one glass of verdejo and one of an entry level tempranillo. We ordered a half ration of Iberian ham and another of a hard cheese. The wines were tasty, and they comped us a glass each of their Sauvignon Blanc. Service was quite good and friendly (thanks, Beatriz! . Worth a stop if you go to Rueda to experience its increasingly recognized wines."

"Good value and good quality! in rueda for 2 nights we found this restaurant at the end of the street. a little wary when we entered, because no one else was in the apartment, but in hints we were early in the evening meal. we. were warmly welcomed by waiter, chef, barman, the type that seemed to have done everything! he recommended his house made croquettes, on which he is too proud, they were delicious! then we split a nice steak and chips. the meat was really nicely cooked to our taste, the only thing that could have been better was the fat at the edges torn a bit more! at this time the place began to fill with natives that was good to see! we enjoyed a bottle of local wine and a few brands. Unfortunately we could not eat the salad, brot or dessert, all offered as we had filled at tapas on another place before the afternoon. we visit rueda once a year and would definitely come back to this quirky and friendly venue!"
