"Just discovered that this cute little cafe has opened up in Takapuna. <br/ <br/ The bacon and egg quiche was very good, soft and creamy The little tomatoes in vinegar were the perfect touch. <br/ <br/ However, croissant was a bit dry. <br/ <br/ Friendly staff. Very attentive. A cosy place with lovely decor."

"This place is well hidden in a beautiful spot by the pump house theatre. So we had to really look for it after parking the car. We reached there before 2pm on a Saturday afternoon. Thats sort of peak lunch time on a sunny day. We get told that the kitchen was closed due to the rush and could not serve any mains. That was very dissapointing indeed. However, they were able to serve some really nice dessert crepes and coffee. Service was good. While this time we had to go away without lunch at lunchtime, we shall return again hoping to get some lunch or dinner here sometime in the future."

"Moxie has the best food in Auckland. The environment, decor and service are sufficient, but not so above the top to the point where it makes you uncomfortable. They focus on making food tasty. "We had a very enjoyable early family supper on Christmas Eve. Clarence Rd eatery is a really stylish and relaxing space, the staff were friendly and attentive and the menu is innovative, tasty and varied. The service was prompt and responsive. My Tarakihi was beautifully cooked and undoubtedly the best meal I had during my 2 week stay in New Zealand. <br/>I can not recommend this eatery more highly superb!"
