"After years in the forest, now closed and abandoned structure, we booked at the k2 for a two-day snow with children and it was really a nice surprise! clean and very quiet rooms, with wonderful views of the snowy mountains, great food, also suitable for celiacs and very prepared staff and very kind, which helped us to satisfy the very difficult gorges of our little girl. We will definitely come back!"

"The Italians already have voted this restaurant to the bottom of the lits. I am writing this review in English simply so that non Italian speaking people don't make the same mistake also. I live in Italy and it is rare to eat poor food or be fed without passion care or feeling. This restaurant was devoid of all, with a healthy dose of bad attitude and poor service thrown in. Myself and two friends from England made a reservation and attended at 8pm. Having stood waiting for some 10 minutes we were finally seated and ordered a Filet steak and two Pizza's....shouldnt be too taxing for a Pizzeria in Italy? At 840 the fillet arrived, having sat for a further 5 minutes without any other courses arriving, I advised my guest to continue, after he finished only half the inedible fillet a further 10 minutes passed and at 9 one pizza materialised. Following the non appearance of the third pizza, my gentle repeated protestations to the waitress were treated with indifference until told to speak with the owner on the till if I had a problem. My suggestion that as our waitress she perhaps should do that was ignored. Finally at 930 when both guests had finished and my own Pizza had not yet arrived nearly 1.5 hours after were seated, we got up to leave and pay the bill and to complain. I explained politely that every good Italian likes to eat as a family, not one at 830 one at 9 and another to not receive his food even by 930! Not a single word of apology was forthcoming..the contrary in fact.... an attitude, the owner blamed everyone else and then even started to argue, slamming the till in and out as he took other guests payments...eventually telling me it wasn't his fault, but that of the chef, I pointed out the he was the boss, in any eventuality it certainly was not ours. The best response response he could muster was that he would (belligerently) deduct the price of the pizza that never arrived from the bill! I said that was simply not good enough and the least an apology should be offered for the awful food, service and attitude and with not even a token offer of a drink or reduction for the ruination of our evening fell on deaf ears. Finally a young family member came and persuaded him to take €8 from the bill for our drinks by way of offer. I am very proud of Italy and have never been so embarrassed on behalf of all the great restauranteurs in Italy in my life. Il Grillo, you should be utterly ashamed to even call yourself a restaurant because you are not!"
