"Stopped off here for lunch. Great beer and although a small menu the chilli was really good and nippy....not just a bolognese sauce with kidney beans you usually get in a pub. Lovely staff, lovely food and lovely beer.....what's not to like??"

"It's a great Chinese takeaway. My husband's family had one for a few decades and we know what we like/what to expect. Really pleased that the local one is good. Ordered from here quite a few times now and always enjoyed everything we've ordered. It's also not too salty, which you can often find with others. The duck noodles are especially delicious. I would only ever order them at a decent dim sum restaurant, but that's an every order dish now! Never had nice duck from a takeaway, as it's usually much better fresh. "The atmosphere is great and eating is at such a reasonable price to die. but the service that was good to start was very slow at the end. waited about 35 minutes for the bill that never came. at the end we had to go into the bar and describe the dame where our table was. it is worth it if it doesn't make them at the end."
