"I've been here often, but had not come in about 2 years. The service was terrible. We ordered a fish of $ 110 and it came half an hour later than any other dishes (vegetables and Pommessfries came out first, and then we ordered a sweet and acidic pork after we arrived, and even that came earlier!) . We were frustrated with the staff and just wanted to cancel the order when the waiter rushed with our fish. To make the affairs worse, the fish was interrupted! The bone was red and the meat still stuck at the bone! We asked the waiter to come, and he said that this is perfectly prepared and that some people cook it so, and he began to scratch the meat that stuck out of the bone. "I'm the regular there. Loved the sushi there. They started doing lunch menus not long ago rice bowls and noodles. <br/ <br/ If you go there on Friday nights or Wednesday, food is definitely fresher. Sushi is delicious there, no doubt. However, I went there once on Tuesday night, there were extensive amount of sushi plates on the train, but they were kinda dried out. <br/ <br/ The new Ramen range was just okay. I had pork ramen, and soup was just so oily!! There was not much noodle in it, and it was in a very small bowl literally 4 mouthful. The egg yolk was missing for some reason, and there were chunks of soup paste in the bottom of my bowl. Plus it cost me $12. <br/ <br/ Quality of hand rolls wasn't consistent. The cook missed some ingredients couple of times...<br/ <br/ Overall, I love the sushi, it's so much better than many other sushi trains/chains in Sydney.<br/ <br/ *cash and cards"

"We ordered last night in this restaurant the deep roasted lamb ribs with many others dressed for dinner. the pictures of the dishes on the menu look fantastic, especially the lamb, but it turned out that the lamb rib shell was completely a fat plate. we can hardly see a little lean meat. I complained to the waiter, and he said that they were already 80% fat and this is the court as it is. also other dishes are very common. I don't think I'm going back to this restaurant and I won't suggest anyone."

"I had lunch at this place and i can recommend this restaurant to anyone in sydney as the food was very tasty and t he staff were very courteous and a very pleasing atmosphere. I had a set menu with 5 course meal for $38.- and it was one of the best vegetarian dishes i have ever tried. A place not to miss."

"The old style fish and chip shop is almost extinct so this was a great find in Riverwood. The shop is modern but cooking methods are the same as when I grew up 50 years ago. No newspapers but served on a tray if eating...in. Takeaways served in boxes. Food varied and excellent. However Gus' serve BBQ packs as well. Service good and prices very reasonable. Worth a trek to Riverwood to experience good old fashioned food."
