"Not one to write reviews but this visit left me so irked that I felt I couldn’t not write one. Visited with my family while on holiday in the area. The pasta starters were disappointing under seasoned and strangely wet. The fennel salad was nice and very fresh. The duck main was delicious although the portion was on the stingy side. Some of this could have been forgiven had we been served with a smile but the owner was incredibly unfriendly and unwelcoming. When we ordered our desserts, he walked away while we were still ordering and, in turn, he got the order wrong. We didn’t complain because I’m not sure how our complaint would have been met but his attitude really painted a negative mood for the evening. Does not seem worthy of a Bib Gourmand or Michelin Guide there are many better and more friendly places in the area worth visiting."

"We also really liked the location and look of the terrace part of this cafe and sat down intending to have a drink and some 'finger food ' Tuscan 'tapas ' which looked good when we saw other guests have them. Unfortunately this became a very uncomfortable 'waiting forever for everything ' kind of a cafe visit. Two or three other parties were attended to and served drinks food before us; two groups came and went while we had not yet received drinks. Once the order had been taken it took ages for drinks to arrive food still wasn 't there. After an hour 's wait we canceled the food, paid and left. We were the only foreigners in the place that afternoon; no one was outright unfriendly to us but we could imagine only two reasons for this very unpleasant experience either the two waitresses were extremely disorganized (which they did not seem to be with the other customers , or they had a problem with us as (non Italian speaking? foreigners?!"
