"When we arrived there was only pizza on the menu and it's smells good so we stop!what a mistake , first... No welcome at all and the pizza wasn't good .... Still looking for the sauce and the mushrooms were in can ! Not tasty! And of course when we leave no thanks you or good bye ! There is other good place in this little town"

"The food was fine, but rarely have I been so ignored in a restaurant. No smiles, no "how is everything?, no "Would you like anything else?", I had to get up and go to the counter myself to ask for a second glass of wine. Was I treated this way because I am a 63 year old solo travelor? The owner was more interested in his computer screen than his customers, while his spouse stayed in the kitchen cooking. I won't be going back"

"Stumbled on this place by accident but we were so glad we did.our food was amazing. I had the aubergine bake and my partner had the lasagne.big portions for both of us and i couldn't quite finish it.garlic bread was delicious too - just how it should be.tiny place so get there early - it only seats 21 people and by the time we left every table was occupied.really friendly staff who go the extra mile for you.a bit on the pricy side for Huanchaco so will be a special occasion place for us. dinner for 2 with a glass of wine each was s/80.you can find it near the bottom end of Los Pinos"

"We went to the indoor market looking for it everywhere, and after asking several people, we found out it no longer exists! They closed down. So don't go there for nothing! According to some locals, the cook is now working at the Cartagena restaurant... So if you want the Luca touch, maybe you'll find it there!"

"When you enter the place, it looks good, but the ground floor is not really everything. In fact, in all my visits, I only saw two people there. The second floor is a balcony with tables and a pool table. It is overlooking the beach... and at night makes a beautiful scene. The drinks are not bad, but the pizzas are pretty good."

"During my two month stay in Huanchaco I’ve had several pizzas from here. They are always generously topped with fresh ingredients. The crust is a classically crisp from their wood fired oven. Also, nice red wine that isn’t ruined from being stored in a hot location. Nice tables outside."

"Although I have not yet dined here, and cannot provide an accurate portrayal of the cuisine, I thought that some of you dedicated TripAdvisor enthusiasts may like to know that I am planning on dining at Bassano tonight, and am very excited about this fact. Staying at frogs hostel, not 200 metres away, I have walked passed this restaurant with growing anticipation for the past few days. I think it will be excellent, so am giving Bassano a preemptive 5 stars. Well done to the chefs, presuming it is delicious. If not, please disregard this post."
