"Recently I happened upon this establish when someone I knew went along to it and indicated on facebook that they had gone there. Having been to Yugoslavia on a number of occasions, I decided to go along and partake of their fare. The restaurant prides itself as having "Traditional Ex Yugoslavian Cuisine" however, I found that a little hollow. I tried the Zenicki Odrezak (a rolled steak with is coated in breadcrumbs and fried) while my wife had the Jadrak (mince and riced rolled in a spinach leaf). The Zenicki was over cooked and dry; the Jadrak was spot on and very tasty. We had deserts which consisted of a cheesecake and Palacinke. The Palacinke were far better than the cheesecake. The food was washed down with a glass of Croation Plavac Mali (wonderful) wine and a Lav beer. I would have preferred a Karlovacko - but they were out of this beer. Generally the type of food served appeals to me however, on the day it was a little hit and miss. I do hope that they become consistent with the quality of their food as it would be great to have a restaurant that serves this type of cuisine in Brisbane. I lean on the side of "Good" rather than average or Very Good. I will go back again."
Balkan Lounge from Brisbane is a good place for a bar to have a beer after work and be able to sit with friends or alone, The sugar-sweet desserts of the restaurant also shine not only in the eyes of our little guests. No Korean feast is complete without traditional Korean menus like Kimchi, Bap and Jjigae, which are served on the menu and the plates of the visitors, In addition, the latest games or races can be watched on the big screen in this sports bar, which the customers also love.

"Nando's has been one of my favourite food since I came here. I especially like the peri peri chips. Thw whole chicken menu is perfect to share with your friends. Always order the spicy one because it is tasty."

"Appears to have changed management and no longer impressed with the service waiter was rushed and non caring, cleared table while people were eating, spoke too quickly, also served unlabelled wine and was unable to tell any information about the brand or alcohol content etc. Had to also get our own menus and request water and salt and pepper for the table. The food was still nice but service had decreased significantly since our last visit last year."

"Great food and great location. Sadly let down by awful service. Food was delivered in batches with on meal arriving after everyone else had finished the meal. "We've been there quite a few times. It's off the beaten track, which is why not many people seem to know bout it. The German/Austrian meals are always good, reasonably priced and generous in size.I love their cakes and their breads. On a sunny day, this is a good place to go for morning or afternoon tea on their shady deck."
