"Considering the reviews, I was expecting something special. It was a busy Saturday night and people were queuing to get a table however we had to wait nearly 30 minutes for our food. Mine came first and it was supposed to be satay noodles - no flavour of satay whatsoever. My friend's meal came 10 minutes later and she said it was nice. But we won't be going back, I refuse to wait that long for food."

"Ordered wraps only to be told 10mins later there was no wrap bread left and was offered alternative bread, so we ordered. Bread was stale and no staff member asked if anything was wrong. No idea! Won't be back and don't waste your money here."

"Run by a couple, this is a pit stop when i am in mortdale. While i havent tasted all their curries, they have a made to order lamb cutlet curry which is wonderfully delicious. The curry paste is on point creamy, rich and spicy. Their naan breads are always fresh and they make a cheese version which when you have it hot, it's stringy and gooey (almost like a stuffed pizza crust). Two of my favourite items are the tandoori wrap and vegetable samosa. While the science behind the wrap is pretty basic, their vegetable samosa is the best i had in sydney. It's huge, has ample filling and most importantly the pastry shell tastes equally good. It's fried to the point where the crust is crispy but yet soft. I bring heaps and freeze it with the intention of having a snack at home but then i end up finishing all of them in 3 days max."

"Very disappointed. Firstly, the waitress seemed confused when we came in and told her that we had called to book a table for 2. We ordered a glass of wine, a pasta and a pizza. The waitress returned to tell me that they we out of 2 of the 3 Australian red wines. We waited over half an hour for our flavourless pesto fettuccine, had to ask for some pepper, Parmesan and a serving spoon. We had finished the pasta and the pizza had still not arrived! I went up to the counter to ask the waitress about our pizza, she was busy with another customer, so I asked the pizza chef if he had put our pizza in the oven yet, was completely ignored. Looking into the pizza oven I could see there was no pizza in there, so when the waitress was free, I asked her if she could cancel the pizza and we would just pay for what we had eaten, to which the pizza chef rudely interjected "I ran out of chicken, that's why I didn't make your pizza" when I responded that you need to tell your customers he angrily said "not my job". The manager came out at this point, meekly apologised, told his pizza chef to stop talking and processed our bill. Ended up going to another pizzeria to finish our dinner. Will definitely not be returning to "Little Italy"!"
