"Hidden gem! Traveling to Charlevoix stopped in. I had Mel's a Brat and husband had Italian Stallion. Mine was good, the bread is buttery on both sandwiches the brat probably wouldn't try again, it was more like a sausage but good. The Italian stallion was bursting with flavor. Chips have a seasoning little too much pepper for me. The deviled egg salad was a mustard potato salad and the coleslaw was fresh and good. Sat outside on picnic tables with dogs, you could take them on the patio too. Plenty of room to walk them too. It's in the same building as a Bp which is great because you can fill up, get drinks and snacks for the road."

"The family and I love going to Sharon 's Country Restaurant. In fact, mentioning that we will be going there for lunch usually elicits CHEERS from the kids! They love the food there, even the picky eaters. Service from the waitstaff is usually pretty quick, even at peak busy times. I could only count on one hand (with missing fingers) the number of times I have had to wait long periods between a check up of our table or a refill of a drink. The restaurant is a favorite of locals, which usually itself will speak volumes on the quality of an eating establishment. As for food selections, Sharon 's offers everything from all day breakfast, to comfort food, to south of the border selections. I have yet to go and find nothing to satisfy a particular craving I may be having at that time. Some of my personal favorites: Sharon 's onion rings! These are a must try! Their large burrito is HUGE and under $10 even a big guy like me can make that into two meals. The wife loves the sweet potato fries and the Western Burger. The desserts change out, but there is nearly always something good for the end of the meal considering you still have room after the main dish! I definitely recommend Sharon 's. We found it by accident just going for a drive one day, but it has been a go to restaurant for my family ever since."

"This restaurant and the owners and staff are true hidden gems! GREAT Servce and GREAT food! First time to the area and the wife and I had dinner last night and came back for breakfast the next morning. Old Town friendly! I cannot say enough good things other this place and the people running it and working g for will certainly bring the wife and I back to the area for sure! Again Thank you for the warm hospitality and again. The great food !"

"Don't be fooled this is not a sit down place to eat. It is just a hot food case in a gas station. We ordered the 12 piece mixed as well as a large jambalaya and large mac cheese. The total came to a whopping $34 and some change hugely expensive. The jambalaya container was about 3/4 full and it had absolutely no flavor it really tasted like it was just warmed over. The mac cheese was really bad the noodles were soft to the point of being mushy and cheese tasted more like bland crap velveeta then anything else. The chicken was piping hot as they had to make it fresh because the case was empty at lunchtime that's the only good thing about the chicken. It really lacked any flavor at all I was expecting a kick of Cajun spices and it had none it was just regular coded chicken deep-fried. You could see the injection marks where they were trying to inject spices into it but I don't think that it worked very well. This is not worth the price that we paid for it and this was our first time the only thing that was good about the whole experience was the young lady that waited on us was super nice. Sadly we're not going back"
