"We stopped here for dinner as part o a day trip to Hayling Island. You can do a takeaway (and many where) and walk over the road fo the beach to eat it. We chose to eat in and was quickly seated. The menu hokds...no real surprises and has all the old favourites. But, it does have a dessert menu which includes, omongst many treats, deep fried bananas. We all went old school with cod and chips and pue and chips. The food was spot on and the cod, we all agreed, was some of the best we have had in recent memory. Price wise it is fair but not cheap. Portions were plenty big enough and well presented. Highly recommended if you are on Hayling Island."

"I came to East Wittering whilst on holiday and fancied some chips to eat on the beach with my partner. We found this chip shop down one of the side streets and thought we would go here as the other chip shop was more a...pizza/kebab type place. It was lunchtime during the week and the shop was empty, this should have sent alarm bells ringing as it was a hot sunny day and there were plenty of people around. We ordered 2 x battered sausage and chips and headed off to the beach to eat them. The chips seem to be a mixture of fresh along with old black bits left over from a previous batch, so we picked our way through them leaving all the burnt pieces which there were quite a few. As for the sausages, I took one bite and it was full of hard gristle so we decided to throw the rest away. I was hoping it would be a good quality chip shop due to it being in East Wittering and near to the beach, but sadly this is the worst food I’ve eaten and the owners should be ashamed to serve it."

"Oh dear what has happened to what used to be a decent fish and chip takeaway Greasy soggy chips, very small piece of cod and very hard crispy batter, luke warm scampi that was taken from the warming top plate that was so over cooked that must have been there for 30 60 mins Don't waste your money and go here. It really has to be one of the worst F&C takeaway ever. Almost inedible and extremely poor"
