"This small hotel is a gem in the hills north of Ales. It was a challenging uphill ride for us cyclists, but well worth the effort. Located in a wooded, scenic area, the our rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet, and the beds were good, We chose a semi-board plan. The dinner and breakfast were both excellent and we thought that the price was reasonable. The owners of the hotel were friendly and very accommodating."

"We had a special family meal in this smart new restaurant. The dining area is modern in design with good access and all the facilities one would want to see in a new hotel. The menu offers a choice of two plates for each course and the formula can be extended by paying more. There is also an a la carte menu. The food itself is highly refined haute cuisine but harks back to French tradition and seasonal ingredients. Each course was interspersed with beautiful tasters. My daughter sort out the snails with seasonal mushrooms and found it exceptional. We enjoyed the homard followed by caneton The service was pleasant and attentive without formality. We stayed most of the afternoon without ever feeling we were waiting. This is not a restaurant for a quick, hurried meal but a place to savour wonderful skills and food. The only small negative is perhaps the wine list which although very extensive but on a par with London prices whilst only being a stone's throw from two major wine regions but this is a minor quibble given the excellence of the food."
In nice weather you can even eat and drink in the outdoor area, and there is free WiFi. The premises on site are accessible, and therefore no problem for customers with wheelchairs or physical limitations.
