"Great choice of beers and cider on tap. Riverside garden is huge and very well kept. There is a playground for kids and pretty flowerbeds. Veggie burger and lasagne were lovely. Homemade ice cream was super."

"If you pass through the shop full of food, gifts and cards you’ll reach the cafe at the back. It was busy when we arrived but the guy squeezed 5 of us in without difficulty. We were served quickly and both the tea and the cappuccinos were lovely."

"Yes, you may have to wait a while as everything is cooked to order, but in our opinion it was well worth the wait! Fish and chips were the best we've ever had! Crispy batter and chips were brown, crispy on the outside but soft in the middle absolutely delicious! In fact I made the effort to go back in and tell the lady what we thought, as people are always quick to complain, but not so quick to pay a compliment. Going home tomorrow unfortunately, otherwise we'd definitely be back for more!"
