"Rockfish- the concept of this place makes them want to eat here. the dining room is open and airy and great music in the background. well, that is about the end of this experience. go in, a family of 4 with a newborn and the host looks like he has no idea why we are here. we tell him we're here to eat, and he's sitting. okay? waiter was so shy that we couldn't understand him, didn't explain anything on the menu, and I had to get his attention when he left to ask if we could order an app. the rock trio was decent. spinat dip was all spinat, not much dip. bombs were good. ordered 2 chicken pastas and cajun pasta together with gumbo. all disappointed at the board. 1. No taste in alfredo and huh was dry and hard. my children wouldn't eat it hardly. they asked if they had to eat it. 2. gumbo, terrible. roux was burned and you could say that it was probably done this morning and we eat dinner. has taken two bites and sent it back. the waiter offered me to ask without me. 3. cajun pasta- absolutely no taste, I load it with salt and pepper, not really help. Easy to oily. pasta was almost muddy? just not good. rated 3 stars, because when I come back here, I will just order fish and hope that a place called rockfish might make a decent fish plate."

"Good food, but that's about where the positive attributes end. Awful service (if you can even call it that) when your server stops by your table maybe every 45 minutes to check on you. We reserved a table, and they wouldn't let me order food for my 1 year old until the entire party arrived, so by the time the food came, we had been there for 2 hours, my child was over-tired and past the point of hungry, so she wouldn't eat. By this point, I'm trying to get the check so I can get her home, and the server brings me the check and brusquely asks do you have your card You dragged out our service for 2 hours and NOW you have a sense of urgency? I have been coming here since they opened in 2005, but never again."

"I found the 'sports bar ' motif a bit out of place with the nice decor of a sushi restaurant, but the food was exceptional. Freshest Sushi I have had in the area. We had 4 rolls, miso soup and crab rangoon and it was very good. Traditional Sushi Bar, table and booth seating. We will be back."
